Niklas Viola finished his bachelor - studies of „Molecular and
Technical Medicine“ in 2015. With his trained skillset to precisely and
accurately research a topic and the wish for a mode of working that
is more autonomous, he quit his master programme of molecular and
translational medicine and prepared for his studies of „Photojournalism
and Documentary Photography“ in Hanover.

The decision for this study programme stemmed from the intrinsical
motivation to express himself more visually whilst still wanting to explore
topics with precision and the ultimate goal of knowledge gain.
Through this mode of artistically researching a field of interest and expressing himself
by using photography, Niklas Viola wishes to partake in the discourse of sociological issues as well as the parameters of Narrative.
